Current Poems and Newsletters
We learn and practice these poems and then students are given the opportunity to recite them (from memory) in class. Your child may use the poetry practice time as part of nightly Home Reading time.

Spelling Lists
Please practice the spelling words nightly with your child. Missed words from the pre-test must be written 5x each on the back. Parents need to review and sign. Weekly homework is as follows: Monday - write missed spelling words 5 x each, Tuesday - write the spelling words in ABC order, Wednesday/Thursday - use spelling words in sentences and Thursday - review for Friday's test.
